Finding Strength in the Current Journey of Healing

With my bladder facing the possibility of future cancer, I have discovered new depths of strength and peace. The journey through BCG therapy yesterday tested not only my physical resilience but also my spiritual fortitude. In the moments of that medical challenge — retaining the therapy for the required time — I was reminded of the precious gift of future health and the power of perseverance. By God’s grace, I was able to retain the therapy for the full two hours. Praise God — all the glory is His.

“I will give thanks to You, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonderful deeds” (Psalm 9:1).

Today, as I reflect on the successful retention of my BCG therapy, there is great cause for thanksgiving. Each week forward in healing represents not only medical science at work, but also the deeper spiritual journey of restoration. My bladder’s successful response to treatment echoes a greater truth: that even in uncertainty, God is faithful; even in weakness, He provides strength; and even in trials, He is working for good.
