Inspired by Max Lucado’s 3:16: The Numbers of Hope

Over the past four weeks, we have explored the powerful truth of John 3:16 through the lens of Max Lucado’s insight. Twenty-six words. One verse. Infinite hope. Week 1: GOD LOVES — We discovered that at the foundation of everything is God’s steadfast love. God’s love is unwavering when we waver, constant when we change, unconditional, generous, and patient. This love forms the foundation upon which our entire faith is built.

Week 4: I LIVE — Finally, we celebrated the result of this divine exchange—eternal life that begins now. This life is not only about duration (living forever) but about depth (living fully). It is experiencing God’s presence in everyday moments and viewing our challenges, relationships, and purpose through renewed perspective.
Together, these four phrases—God Loves. He Gave. I Believe. I Live.—form the rhythm of authentic faith. They reveal a relationship initiated by God’s love, secured by His gift, received through belief, and expressed in abundant life.
