“The Lord is close to all whose hearts are crushed by pain, and He is always ready to restore the repentant one.” — Psalm 34:18 (The Passion Translation)
In the quietest moments of despair, when words fail and tears speak, I am there—not as a distant observer, but as One who draws near to your wounded spirit.
There is no depth too low, no darkness too deep where My presence cannot reach you. When your heart feels shattered into countless pieces, I am already gathering each fragment with tender care.
I do not stand at a distance, waiting for your pain to subside. I step into the depths of your sorrow, making your burdens My own. Your broken heart is not a barrier between us, but an invitation to My closeness. In your vulnerability, you will find Me most near.
My comfort does not always come as sudden relief. Often it arrives as gentle strength that enables you to endure. Sometimes it is a whisper of hope when all seems lost. Sometimes it is an unexpected peace that defies your circumstances. Sometimes it is the compassion of others who become My hands and feet in your darkest hour.
Your brokenness does not repel Me—it draws Me closer. I am not searching for your strength, but for your surrender. Not for perfection, but for openness. Not for answers, but for trust.
When you feel most alone, look for Me beside you. When you feel most unworthy, remember I am already holding you. When you feel most broken, know that I am especially near.
For I have promised: The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
