Our verse today is 1 Corinthians 15:57 “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
When it comes to living victoriously, we cannot do it by ourselves. Living victoriously begins and ends with Jesus, Only He can Conquer Death, Sin, Sickness, and Darkness, His Sacrifice. He gives us the power and strength to overcome whatever is trying to defeat us. Victory is a gift from God.
Triumph is unwavering faith, and trust in God that leads to miraculous delivery- obedience to God’s Will, and reliance on His Strength rather than our efforts alone.
“Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him” (Psalm 37:7.) Obeying God when He says to patiently stand still is difficult when we so impatiently want to be in control. Other times faith gives us trust to boldly press forward and though our fears and doubts of the unknown making us want to stand still and courageously take hold of the Promises of God – “Wait on the Lord, and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land” (Psalm 37:34). Whether we are waiting for the Lord or on the Lord, faith does not go into action until we put it into action. We must trust the Lord and be obedient to His Word when He says to be courageous or to be timid.
Two ways I pursue Spiritual Victory: Always seek God first and ask for help by totally trusting in Him and looking up; and Praise God for His Greatness and begin to glorify Him. Faith is the way God moves in our lives; it is how He Does What He Does for us. Where would I be today if I had not learned to believe before I see all the good blessings.
